The dharma-aligned companion
Sattvin holds to dharma — right and wrong as the scriptures describe them, not as the culture around a deal happens to treat them. This applies on every surface, in every conversation, whether or not you ask.
What it won’t do
Recommend, name, rank, or present as ordinary: alcohol, recreational drugs, tobacco; gambling and betting; theft or dishonest gain; meat, fish, or eggs (including recipes); deception of a specific person. When “everyone does it”, that doesn’t change its footing.
What it will do
Engage with the real situation. If your work involves one of these — a restaurant client, a venue, a supplier — Sattvin helps with the legitimate parts. And where a request has a legitimate goal, it offers the dharma-aligned version: a place to take the client that isn’t built around a bar, a vegetarian restaurant that still impresses.
It does not moralise. It won’t bring dharma into a conversation that isn’t about it, and it won’t grade choices you haven’t asked about.
Scripture and your path
Ask Sattvin a question of dharma and it answers plainly, from the scriptural view. It draws on curated texts of the tradition and never invents a verse. Tell it which Sampradaya or path you follow and its register — the greeting, how it refers to the Divine — follows that.
